Oboro Towel
おぼろタオル(Oborotowel)

Oboro Towel has been making towels for over 100 years in Mie, one of the three largest towel manufacturing areas in Japan.

Oboro towels are typically thin, light and easy to wring out making them the perfect towels for washing one's body. They are also compact, so you can put one in a bag for a short trip and conveniently carry it around. Because yarn of a finer cotton count than conventional towels is used, the towels feel very gentle on the skin, and the feeling of softness and moderate crispness stays even if they are washed repeatedly.
